ABOUT US

Many Experiences.

One Club.

All Leeds DSA exists to bring disabled fans together, give us a stronger voice and make supporting Leeds United more inclusive for everyone.

At a glance

We’re a new association for disabled Leeds fans, their carers and families.

We’re run by fans, independent from the Club, and members decide what we focus on.

We’ll take members’ experiences to Leeds United and other organisations, and report back on what happens.

Everyone’s welcome, whether you get to games or not.

Fans First

Every Leeds fan’s story is different. Season tickets, away days, the women’s team, radio commentary, watching at home. It all counts.

We’re bringing together fans with lived experience of disability and the people who support them, to share what we know, raise what needs fixing and turn experiences into practical ideas.

Disability isn’t always visible, and barriers aren’t only physical. They can come from buildings, information, attitudes or how things are run, and we want to tackle all of them.

What Guides Us

Independent: members set our priorities. Working with the Club doesn’t mean always agreeing with it.

Democratic: an elected committee, clear rules and decisions members can hold us to.

Constructive: we’ll give credit where it’s due, be clear about what needs to change, and keep conversations respectful and based on evidence.

Inclusive: everyone’s welcome, whatever their disability, background or communication needs, whether they get to games or not.

Practical: we’ll focus on things that make a real difference, like tickets, travel, facilities and information.

Transparent: we’ll tell members what we’ve raised, what came back and what’s next, while keeping personal matters confidential.

How We Work

Listen to what members tell us and what they’d like to happen

Find the common issues and agree priorities together

Take clear proposals to the right people

Report back and keep following up

When we help with a personal issue, we’ll always agree with you first what can be shared.

Who We Want To Work With

We want disabled Leeds fans represented locally, nationally and beyond. Depending on the issue, we may talk to, learn from or work alongside:

Football:

Leeds United and its disability access team, the Premier League, the EFL, the FA, the Women’s Super League, and UEFA and FIFA where relevant

Fan and access groups:

NAFDSA, Level Playing Field, the Football Supporters’ Association, AccessibAll, Football Supporters Europe, Kick It Out, other DSAs and Leeds supporter groups

Our community:

Local disability groups, Supporters of Leeds United Women, Leeds City Council, transport and venue operators, carer organisations and Leeds fans around the world

Being listed here doesn’t mean an organisation has a formal partnership with us. ALDSA is fully independent.

Big Changes And Small Ones

Sometimes it’s the little things, like a clear arrival guide or knowing who to ask. Sometimes it’s bigger, longer-term change. Members’ experiences help us push for both, even where the final decision sits with someone else.
